Vania Cruz

Counsel

Vania is Counsel of the firm, specializing in competition law, merger control, economic regulation, and public law.

Prior to joining the firm, she was the first Head of the Merger Control Unit at the Commission for the Defense of Free Competition at INDECOPI, where she was responsible for launching Peru’s pre-merger control system for business concentration operations, leading the specialized unit during its critical early years of implementation (2021–2023). She also served as legal advisor at the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA).
