Mario is a Partner of the firm, specializing in commercial arbitration, both domestic and international arbitration (ICC, UNCITRAL etc)

Mario is one of the most prominent experts in arbitration and has extensive experience as an arbitrator in various ad hoc tribunals, the Chamber of Commerce of Lima, and American Chamber of Commerce in Peru (AmCham) in matters related to concessions, infrastructure, public-private partnerships, commercial contracts, among others.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a Partner of Bullard Falla Ezcurra +, a founding Partner of Reggiardo & Grau – Abogados and also Partner and head of the Civil Litigation Area of Benites, Forno & Ugaz – Abogados. Mario was also legal researcher at the Institute of Liberty and Democracy – ILD and Director of the Internal Affairs Office at the Ministry of Interior.

Mario has been a member of the Commission of the Ministry of Justice responsible for proposing reforms to the Civil Procedure Code, a judge on the Licensing Tribunal of the Peruvian Football Federation, and a member of the subcommittees on Internal Control and Legal Reform of the Execution Commission for the Police Reform and Modernization Project of the National Police of Peru. He has also served as President of the Arbitration Board of the International Center for Arbitration, Conflict Resolution, and Disputes Boards (CIARD).

Currently, Mario is a board member of the Peruvian Chapter of the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA), an alternate member of the Superior Arbitration Council of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL), and a delegate of the National Committee of Peru to the Arbitration and ADR Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
