Alonso is a founding Partner of the firm, specializing in corporate law, privatization and concessions, energy, infrastructure, administrative law and tax law.

He has extensive experience in corporate operations, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and PPP. Alonso has participated in several of the most important project and infrastructure transactions in Peru.

He is Member of the Board of Banco Falabella, Saga Falabella S.A., Lima Gas S.A.A., Sociedad Agrícola Saturno S.A., Levapan del Perú; and other medium size companies. He is Vice President of the Peruvian Foreign Trade Association (COMEXPERU).

He has held the positions of Member of the Board of Minera Chinalco Perú S.A., Química Suiza, MiFarma, Gas Natural de Lima y Callao S.A., ElectroAndes S.A., Cia Minera Caudalosa S.A., Chamber of Commerce of Lima and of the Health Social Security (ESSALUD), Member of the Superior Council of the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, Lima Golf Club, President of the Special Committee to Award the Concession of the Cableway Project in Machu Picchu, Member of the Special Privatization Committee of the Regional Electric Companies, Member of the Board of the National Securities and Corporations Supervision Commission (Comisión Nacional Supervisora de Empresas y Valores -CONASEV), Advisor of the Ministry and Vice-Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Integration and International Commercial Negotiations, Member of the Unfair Competition Commission at the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual; INDECOPI), Member of the Board of the National Tourism Corporation (Empresa Nacional de Turismo S.A.
