Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados advised Colombia’s Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional in the sale of its stake in Interconexión Eléctrica (ISA) to Ecopetrol, the largest oil company in Colombia, for US $ 3.7 billion.
ISA is a Colombian electricity public services company that has operations in energy, highways and telecommunications in Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Central America through 51 affiliates and subsidiaries.
The PRCP team that participated in the transaction included Juan Antonio Egüez (Partner) and Vanessa Watanabe (Partner), Vanessa Chávarry (Counsel), Martin Ruggiero (Principal Associate) and Mayra Aguirre (Principal Associate).
